Text: Genesis 17; John 10:10
“Divine” refers to something beyond human explanation—what is miraculous, supernatural, and orchestrated by God.
“Establishment” speaks of being fixed, stable, unalterable, and permanently secured by God.
The Covenant of Abraham is fundamentally a covenant of greatness. It positions a person to be the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. It is a covenant that empowers God’s people to walk in overflowing wealth, overflowing health, and undeniable supernatural advantages.
Everyone connected to Abraham’s covenant enjoys supernatural sound health, just like Asher in Deuteronomy 33:25. This is echoed throughout Scripture (Psalm 27:1; Hebrews 10:5), showing that divine strength and vitality are covenant rights.
This covenant also grants:
- A mind empowered by the Holy Spirit — enabling wisdom, clarity, and divine intelligence.
- Long life — As seen in Genesis 25:7–8, Abraham lived a full and satisfied life.
- Extreme riches in silver and gold — Genesis 13:2 reveals Abraham as exceedingly wealthy.
- Global relevance and influence — Genesis 12:2 shows God’s promise to make Abraham a blessing to nations.
- Supernatural wealth transfer and ownership of land — Genesis 15:7 highlights God’s commitment to giving Abraham possession of territories.
- Total devotion and consecration to God — Genesis 17:1 calls Abraham to “walk before Me and be perfect,” revealing that covenant greatness flows from complete dedication.
